What is it?
Businesses have long been able to define up to 10 Generic Date fields in their registration form (e.g., anniversaries, sign-up dates, custom milestones). Until now, these fields were mostly placeholders - used for display or simple filtering.
With this enhancement, Generic Dates can now power campaigns, rules, deals, and one-time actions, letting you automate date-based workflows directly from the Hub.
Â
Why does it matter?
This opens the door to:
Automating anniversary campaigns, birthday offers, and milestone deals without manual updates.
Running once-ever or annual actions tied to any custom date.
Having full control over the exact timing of each action or rule.
Bottom line: date-driven campaigns are now easy, flexible, and fully automated.
Â
How it works
Check setup: Go to Business Profile → Registration Form → Generic Date Fields (1–10) and make sure the right fields are defined and enabled.
-
Use across the platform: Once configured, you’ll see these dates available as conditions or triggers in:
Â-
Rules - Automate actions based on specific dates
Deals - Trigger date-based promotions or offers
Â-
One-Time Actions - Schedule individual actions tied to a specific date
Â
Filter members - Segment your customers according to the date fields for targeted campaigns/actions.Â
-
Set frequency & timing - Choose whether the action should run once-ever or every year, and set the exact timing for execution.
Â
Example use cases
Send a loyalty offer one year after sign-up.
Automate anniversary greetings with a reward.
Run a special promotion tied to a custom milestone (e.g., first purchase date).
With these updates, managing date-based campaigns is smoother than ever - directly from the UI, no manual edits needed.
