The AI Free Text option within Filter Members allows you to search for members using natural language instead of manually selecting filters.

Simply describe the members you want to find, and AI will interpret your request, apply the appropriate filtering criteria, and return matching members.

This feature helps merchants create audiences more quickly and easily without needing to build complex filter combinations.

Access AI Free-Text Filtering

  1. Navigate to Data & BI.
  2. Select Filter Members.
  3. Click the AI Free Text tab.
  4. Enter a description of the members you want to find.
  5. Click Search.

The system will:

  • Interpret your request.
  • Display a summary of the criteria it applied.
  • Return members matching the criteria.
  • Allow results to be exported to CSV.

Results may take 20-60 seconds to generate, depending on the complexity of the request.

Understanding Search Results

After a search is completed, AI displays a summary explaining how it interpreted your request (blue outline).

Review the generated summary to confirm that the search criteria align with your intended audience before using the results.

Search results include:

  • A description of the interpreted criteria.
  • The total number of matching members.
  • A list of matching member records.
  • An option to export the results.

Tips for Best Results

⭐️ Use Natural Language

Enter searches using everyday language. There is no need to use specific filter names or technical terminology.

⭐️ Be Specific

Providing additional details helps AI better understand the audience you want to find and can improve the accuracy of results.

⭐️ Combine Multiple Criteria

AI can interpret requests that include multiple member attributes, loyalty activities, or purchase behaviors within a single search.

⭐️ Review the Generated Criteria

Always review the AI-generated summary before using results for marketing campaigns, exports, or operational decisions.

Important Notes

  • AI-generated searches may occasionally interpret requests differently than intended.
    • If the results are not what you expected, try refining or rephrasing the request.
  • Results may take 20-60 seconds to generate, depending on the complexity of the request.
  • The AI-generated summary is provided to help you verify the criteria before taking action.
  • As with any AI feature, responses may not always be accurate and should be reviewed prior to use.
