Once you add locations, you can search, edit, or delete them. You can also promote locations to the top of the list in the app Location List by making them favorite locations.
NOTE: your monthly charges by Como will be based on the Active location list.
To manage your locations
- From the Business profile tab, click Locations:
- Filter which locations are displayed according to the type and status:
3. Delete location, NOTE: You can delete locations only if they are in status Deactive/ Test.
Location group
You can create location groups. A group can be easily created within the location tab by scrolling down or using a simple text search. Once the location group is created, it can be used as an attribute in all relevant aspects of the product, including filtering members, rules, and deals.
Location Group Auto Generation
We’ve added a new “Generate” button in Business Profile → Locations → Location Groups.
This allows you to automatically create one location group per location with a single click.
Previously, creating groups had to be done manually, which could be time-consuming and prone to errors.
Now, groups are generated automatically, named after their respective location, and contain only that location.
You can still customize and edit groups after they are created. Note that deleting groups requires Access Groups to be enabled.
How it works
- When users click the Generate button, a pop-up explains that one location group will be created per location.
- Users are asked to confirm whether to proceed or cancel.
- After confirmation, the system automatically creates a location group for every location.
- Each location group is named exactly like its location.
- Each group contains only the location it’s named after.
Multiple Branch IDs per Location
Locations can now have one main branch ID plus additional “sub” branch IDs. This ensures data from different systems (POS, Online Ordering, etc.) is grouped correctly, avoiding split reports, duplicate dashboard entries, and billing issues.
How it works
- Sub-branch IDs must be unique across the business to prevent reporting or syncing issues.
- The system prevents duplicate sub-branch IDs across different locations. If a sub-branch ID is already in use, trying to assign it elsewhere will trigger an error.
- The system handles location structure validations in the background, but it's important for teams to coordinate when making changes across multiple locations.
